Zucchini Casserole with Chicken and Cheese (Baked in the Oven)

Delicious and juicy, easy and quick to make! Zucchini casserole with chicken and cheese in the oven turns out tender and flavorful, thanks to marinated chicken.

Preparation
Step 1
If the zucchini has a thick skin, peel it off.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, mix sour cream with mustard. Add salt and spices - I use ground pepper and paprika. Stir everything well.
Step 3
Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces and mix it with the sour cream marinade. Let it sit for about 15 minutes.
Step 4
Grate the zucchini on a coarse grater. If it releases too much liquid, squeeze it out - excess moisture is not needed.
Step 5
Peel the onion, rinse it under cold water, chop finely, and fry it with a small amount of vegetable oil for 2-3 minutes until golden.
Step 6
Add the marinated chicken and fried onion to the grated zucchini.
Step 7
Add eggs and flour to the bowl.
Step 8
Mix everything thoroughly until smooth.
Step 9
Use any non-stick baking dish (I use a ceramic one). Grease the bottom and sides with vegetable oil, spread the mixture evenly, and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 30 minutes.
Step 10
Sprinkle grated cheese on top and return to the oven for another 10-15 minutes.
Step 11
The zucchini, chicken, and cheese casserole is ready! Sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve warm. Enjoy!
