Easy
About 20 min.
Preparation
Step 1
Choose boneless turkey meat. Turkey breast or thigh fillet works well. Use spices to your taste - even a ready-made chicken seasoning mix will do.
Step 2
Cut the turkey into evenly sized pieces so they cook at the same time.
Step 3
Heat a skillet until hot, add a little vegetable oil. Place the turkey pieces inside and fry for 7-8 minutes until golden. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
Step 4
Prepare the vegetables. Peel the onion and carrot, rinse. Slice the onion into half-rings (or smaller if you prefer). Grate the carrot on a coarse grater.
Step 5
Add chopped onion and carrot to the skillet with the turkey. Stir everything well. Add salt and spices to taste - ground black pepper or other seasonings. Simmer together for about 10 minutes. You may cover with a lid to soften the vegetables faster.
Step 6
At this stage, you may add a handful of cranberries and cook together for another 5 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice. Enjoy!
