About 20 min.
Preparation
Step 1
You can use cream of any fat content. The higher the fat, the richer and creamier the final flavor will be.
Step 2
Rinse the mushrooms thoroughly under running water, then slice them. Peel and rinse the onion and garlic. Finely chop the onion.
Step 3
Start cooking the spaghetti. Place it in boiling salted water and cook according to the package instructions - usually about 7-10 minutes. Do not overcook! It’s best to leave it slightly al dente.
Step 4
Heat a bit of olive oil in a skillet and sauté the garlic for 2 minutes until golden. You can cut larger cloves in half. The garlic will infuse the oil with aroma.
Step 5
Add the chopped onion and mushrooms to the skillet and sauté everything together for 3-4 minutes.
Step 6
Season the mushrooms with salt and spices. Pour in the cream, stir, and bring to a boil. Simmer the mushrooms in the cream for 6-8 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and the mushrooms reduce in size.
Step 7
Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet with the mushrooms. Stir well to coat with the sauce.
Step 8
Grate cheese directly into the skillet and add some chopped herbs. Mix everything together.
Step 9
Your Spaghetti with Mushrooms in Cream Sauce is ready! Serve hot and enjoy your meal!
