Easy
About 30 min.
Preparation
Step 1
For portion cuts, it’s convenient to use pork loin or ham.
Step 2
Slice the pork into pieces about 0.4-0.6 in (1-1.5 cm) thick. Pound each piece lightly on both sides with a meat mallet.
Step 3
For baking, use any heatproof dish - glass, metal, or ceramic. Grease the bottom and sides with vegetable oil. Arrange the prepared pork pieces in the dish. Season with salt and meat spices.
Step 4
For the sauce, mix mayonnaise with mustard. Spread this sauce evenly over each piece of meat.
Step 5
Peel the onion, rinse in cold water, and slice into thin half-rings. Distribute the onion slices over the meat.
Step 6
Grate the cheese and generously sprinkle over the meat. Place the dish into a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 35-40 minutes. Baking time may vary by oven. During cooking, the pork will release juices, and the cheese will brown slightly.
Step 7
Remove the pork with onions and cheese from the oven and serve hot immediately. If desired, add any side dish. Enjoy!
