Easy
About 20 min.
Preparation
Step 1
Take boneless pork with minimal fat.
Step 2
Slice the meat into thin pieces and lightly pound with a kitchen mallet. This will make the cooked meat softer and more tender.
Step 3
Then cut the pounded meat into thin strips.
Step 4
Coat the meat in flour. It’s convenient to place the meat in a bag, add flour, and shake so it’s evenly coated on all sides.
Step 5
Peel and slice the onion into half-rings or slightly smaller. Heat a skillet with a little vegetable oil and fry the onions on low heat for 2-3 minutes until translucent.
Step 6
Add the floured meat to the skillet and fry together with the onions for a few minutes until the meat changes color.
Step 7
Mix sour cream with water and pour over the meat. Add salt and spices to taste. Stir and bring to a boil. Cover with a lid and cook on low heat for 20-25 minutes. For aroma, you can add a bay leaf. Adjust the water slightly depending on how much sauce you want.
Step 8
Remove from heat and serve with any side dish. Sprinkle with fresh herbs before serving. Enjoy!
