Table of volume measurements:
- teaspoon - 5 ml
- dessert spoon - 10 ml
- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
You can use any mushrooms: boiled forest mushrooms or champignons, as in this recipe. Choose boneless pork. Sour cream can be of any fat content.
Step 2
Cut the pork into thin, long strips.
Step 3
Place the sliced meat in a bowl and sprinkle with flour. Mix so that each piece of meat is evenly coated.
Step 4
Peel the onion and rinse it in cold water. Slice into half-rings. Heat a frying pan until hot, add a little vegetable oil. Add the onion and sauté for 1-2 minutes over medium heat until translucent.
Step 5
Add the prepared pork to the pan and mix with the onion. Fry for another 2-3 minutes until the meat changes color.
Step 6
In a separate glass, mix water with tomato paste and sour cream.
Step 7
Pour the sauce over the meat and stir. Add salt and spices to taste. Bring to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat for 35-40 minutes until the meat becomes tender.
Step 8
While the meat simmers, prepare the mushrooms. Rinse champignons under running water. Cut large mushrooms into 2-4 pieces, leave small ones whole. In a separate pan, fry the mushrooms with a little vegetable oil for 5-7 minutes until browned and reduced in size.
Step 9
Once the meat is soft, add the mushrooms to the pan and heat everything together for another couple of minutes.
Step 10
Pork Stroganoff with mushrooms is ready! Serve with rice or mashed potatoes. Enjoy your meal!
