Easy
About 20 min.
Preparation
Step 1
You can use any boneless pork cut - tenderloin, ham, or pork loin, whichever you prefer. Slice the meat into portions about 0.6-0.8 in (1.5-2 cm) thick.
Step 2
Cover the meat with plastic wrap and lightly pound it with a kitchen mallet. The wrap prevents splattering and protects the meat’s surface.
Step 3
For baking, use any heatproof dish - glass, metal, or ceramic. Grease the dish with vegetable oil and place the meat in it. Spread mayonnaise (or sour cream) on top of the meat. Sprinkle lightly with salt and spices to taste.
Step 4
Wash the tomatoes, remove the stems, and cut them into slices. Arrange the tomato slices on top of the meat.
Step 5
Grate the cheese and sprinkle it over each piece of meat on top of the tomatoes. Place the dish in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes. Adjust the time depending on your oven.
Step 6
The finished dish will have a golden, appetizing crust. The cheese will melt completely, and the meat will release some juices. Remove from the oven and serve hot. Enjoy!
