Ingredients
Preparation
Step 1
Choose boneless pork. A little fat is fine. Peel the potatoes in advance and rinse them under running water.
Step 2
Cut the pork into small pieces and lightly pound them with a meat mallet. Use any ovenproof dish (I used ceramic). Grease the bottom and sides with oil, arrange the pork, and season with salt and spices.
Step 3
Peel the onion, rinse, and slice into half-rings. Spread evenly over the meat.
Step 4
Slice the potatoes into rounds and layer them on top. Spread mayonnaise over the surface of the potatoes.
Step 5
Wash the mushrooms and tomatoes well, then slice them.
Step 6
Place the sliced mushrooms on top of the potatoes.
Step 7
Add the sliced tomatoes and a few pieces of bell pepper. You can add more if you like. I use just a little for aroma. Lightly salt everything, cover the dish with foil, and bake in a preheated 400°F (200°C) oven for about 40 minutes (time depends on your oven).
Step 8
After baking, remove the dish, take off the foil, sprinkle grated cheese over the top, and return to the oven for about 10 minutes.
Step 9
Pork in the oven with tomatoes, potatoes, and cheese is ready! Serve hot, optionally sprinkled with fresh herbs. Enjoy!
