Easy
About 20 min.
Preparation
Step 1
Use hollow pasta so it can hold filling inside - it will taste better. Choose lean, boneless pork.
Step 2
Cook the pasta in hot water according to package instructions. Undercook slightly by 1-2 minutes. Drain in a colander.
Step 3
Cut the meat into small pieces. Heat a frying pan with a little vegetable oil. Add the meat and fry until golden brown.
Step 4
Peel the onion, rinse in cold water, and finely chop. Add onion to the meat in the pan. Stir and fry together for 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and spices to taste.
Step 5
In a separate bowl, combine cream and eggs. Add a little salt. You may use cream of any fat content; some can be replaced with milk.
Step 6
Take a heatproof baking dish. Grease the bottom and sides with vegetable oil. Spread half the cooked pasta on the bottom.
Step 7
Add the fried meat on top and distribute evenly.
Step 8
Layer the remaining pasta on top and pour the cream–egg mixture over it.
Step 9
Cover with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 35-40 minutes. Adjust to your oven.
Step 10
After baking, remove the foil and sprinkle the pasta with grated cheese. Return to the oven for another 10 minutes.
Step 11
The pasta casserole with meat and cheese is ready! Remove from oven and serve hot. Enjoy!
