- dessert spoon - 10 ml
- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
How do you bake pollock with potatoes in the oven? Prepare all the necessary ingredients for the dish. You can use fresh or frozen pollock. Frozen fish should be thawed beforehand by moving it from the freezer to the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Instead of whole fish, you can use frozen portioned fillets with all the bones already removed. In that case, the dish will take even less time to prepare.
Step 2
Rinse the fish thoroughly, clean off the scales, cut off the fins and tail, and gut it.
Step 3
Cut the prepared fish into portion-sized pieces. Transfer them to a suitable bowl.
Step 4
Add sour cream, mayonnaise, fish seasoning, curry, ground pepper, and salt to the pollock. Choose the set of spices and their quantity to your taste. You can use sour cream of any fat content. The same goes for the mayonnaise.
Step 5
Mix everything thoroughly. Leave the fish to marinate at room temperature for 20 minutes. If you marinate it longer, place the pollock in the refrigerator.
Step 6
Wash the potatoes, peel them, and cut them into medium pieces. If you wish, you can cut the potatoes into rounds. In principle, the cutting method is not important here.
Step 7
Add the potatoes to the fish and mix so that all the potatoes are also coated with the sauce.
Step 8
Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Arrange the fish with the potatoes in it. Put the dish into an oven preheated to 180°C (350°F) for 35-40 minutes. If the top of the dish has already browned but the potatoes are not yet ready, cover the dish with foil and bake until the potatoes are done. You can check doneness with a knife - it should pierce the potatoes easily.
Step 9
Take the finished fish with potatoes out of the oven and divide it among plates. Enjoy your meal!
