Preparation
Step 1
You can use pasta of any shape you like. Choose what you prefer. The ground meat can be from any type of meat: pork, beef, chicken, or a mix. I use pork mince.
Step 2
Pour water into a pot and bring it to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the instructions on the package. Usually, it takes 7-10 minutes. The pasta will increase in size and become soft. Add a bit of salt.
Step 3
Peel the onion and rinse it under cold water. Then chop the onion finely.
Step 4
Heat a skillet until hot and add some vegetable oil. Fry the chopped onion for 1-2 minutes until it becomes more transparent and soft.
Step 5
Add the ground meat of your choice to the skillet with the onion. Stir everything together and fry, stirring occasionally, for about 10-12 minutes.
Step 6
Season the fried mince with salt and add spices for meat to taste.
Step 7
By this time, the pasta should be ready. Drain it in a colander to remove excess water.
Step 8
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the ground meat and stir. Heat everything together for another 2–3 minutes.
Step 9
Navy-Style Pasta with ground meat is ready! Remove the skillet from the heat and serve. Enjoy your meal!
