Table of volume measurements:
- teaspoon - 5 ml
- dessert spoon - 10 ml
- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
What pasta to choose? Any kind you like: shells, spirals, elbows, or spaghetti. Use canned beef, pork, or poultry. Choose spices to your taste.
Step 2
First, cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain in a colander.
Step 3
Heat vegetable oil in a heavy-bottomed skillet. Finely chop 1 onion. Add it to the skillet with salt to taste and 1 tsp sugar. Sauté, stirring, until golden, 3-5 minutes.
Step 4
Finely chop or press 2 cloves of garlic. Add to skillet with 1 tbsp wine vinegar. The vinegar will evaporate, leaving a sweet-sour flavor. Stir in 2 tbsp tomato paste and fry another 2 minutes.
Step 5
Mash the canned meat with a fork into small chunks or a paste, as you prefer.
Step 6
Add the canned meat to the skillet with onion. Bring to a boil. Pour in 1/2 cup boiling water (adjust for thicker or thinner sauce).
Step 7
Stir, then season with spices. Options: ground allspice, dried herbs, or a vegetable seasoning mix. Add salt to taste. Lower heat and simmer 3-5 minutes.
Step 8
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet.
Step 9
Mix everything well. Sprinkle with chopped dill, parsley, or scallions. Stir again, taste, and adjust salt if needed. Turn off heat, cover, and let rest 5-10 minutes.
Step 10
Done! Serve hot, ideally with fresh vegetables or a salad.
