Step 1
You can use ground meat of any kind for the filling. I use a mix of pork and beef. Peel the potatoes and rinse them under running water.

Cover the peeled potatoes with water, bring to a boil, and cook until soft (about 20 minutes). Salt during cooking. Drain, add butter, and mash until smooth. Let cool until warm enough to handle.

For the filling, peel and rinse the onion, then finely chop. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and sauté onion for 2-3 minutes.

Add ground meat to the skillet and cook with the onion for 12-15 minutes. Season with salt and spices to taste. Let the cooked filling cool.

Add eggs and flour to the mashed potatoes. Mix until smooth. The potato dough should not be runny and must hold shape well.
Step 6
Grease your hands with oil, take some potato dough, and shape into a flat patty. Place filling in the center and seal into a pie shape.
Step 7
Fry the patties on both sides in a skillet until golden brown.
