About 30 min.
Preparation
Step 1
You can use ground meat from any type of meat or a mix. I used pork. Choose mushrooms to your taste or whatever you have available. I had forest porcini, boiled and frozen - just thaw them.
Step 2
Peel and finely chop the onion. Rinse with cold water, then sauté for 2-3 minutes in a skillet with vegetable oil.
Step 3
Add mushrooms to the skillet with the onion. Fry together for 5-7 minutes, until the liquid evaporates and mushrooms start to brown.
Step 4
Season the ground meat with salt and spices, such as black pepper and dried herbs. Mix well and beat the mixture against the bowl to make it denser.
Step 5
For baking, use a ceramic dish. Grease the bottom and sides with vegetable oil. Shape the meat into small patties and place them in the dish. Make a small indentation in the center.
Step 6
Place a little grated cheese in each indentation.
Step 7
Then add the mushroom filling and spread mayonnaise on top. Place the dish in a preheated oven at 200°C / 390°F for 20 minutes.
Step 8
Meanwhile, prepare cheese and tomatoes. Grate the cheese coarsely and dice the tomatoes.
Step 9
After 20 minutes, remove the dish from the oven. Add diced tomatoes to each beefsteak and sprinkle with grated cheese. Return to the oven for another 10-15 minutes.
Step 10
During this time, the tomatoes will soften and the cheese will melt. Serve the beefsteaks hot, straight from the oven. Enjoy!
