Easy
About 20 min.
Preparation
Step 1
I use store-bought cabbage rolls, but you can make them yourself. They store well in the freezer until ready to cook. No need to thaw in advance.
Step 2
Wash the onion and carrot thoroughly with a brush under running water, peel, and rinse. Grate the carrot and finely chop the onion.
Step 3
Pour a little vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl. I used the "Fry" mode. Modes may vary on your multicooker. Add the prepared onion and carrot to the hot bowl. Fry for 2-3 minutes until softened and aromatic.
Step 4
In a cup, mix water with tomato paste and flour. The flour will slightly thicken the sauce.
Step 5
Pour the tomato sauce over the sautéed vegetables in the bowl. Bring to a boil. Add a little salt and spices to taste; I used black pepper and paprika.
Step 6
Place the frozen cabbage rolls into the sauce. Switch the multicooker to "Bake" mode for about 30 minutes. Cooking time may vary depending on your device. Close the lid and cook, flipping the rolls 1-2 times if desired.
Step 7
Transfer the cooked cabbage rolls to a plate and serve hot. Enjoy!
