Fried Pollock in Breadcrumbs in a Frying Pan
Delicious, tender, and crispy! Fried fish in breadcrumbs is so easy to make that even a beginner can handle it. I use pollock, but you can cook almost any low-bone fish this way.

Preparation
Step 1
You can use a whole fish cut into pieces or ready-made fillets. I prefer boneless fillets - that’s the main advantage.
Step 2
In a small bowl, whisk the eggs with salt and spices. A pre-made fish seasoning mix works great since it’s perfectly balanced to enhance flavor and aroma.
Step 3
If your pollock is frozen, remove it from the freezer in advance and let it thaw at room temperature. Pat the fish dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture, then cut it into portion-sized pieces.
Step 4
Dip each piece of fish into the egg mixture, then coat it completely in breadcrumbs. Make sure the crumbs cover the fish evenly - this helps it stay juicy and flavorful while forming a crispy crust.
Step 5
Preheat a frying pan over medium-high heat, pour in vegetable oil, and add the fish pieces. Don’t overcrowd the pan - leave space between each piece.
Step 6
Fry the fish over low to medium heat for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
Step 7
Place the fried fish on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Step 8
Your Fried Pollock in Breadcrumbs is ready! Serve and enjoy.
