French-Style Chicken Baked in the Oven

Preparation
Step 1
You can slightly adjust the quantity and proportions of ingredients to your taste. I will add zucchini along with potatoes, but you can choose one or the other.

You can use any oven-safe dish for cooking. I use a ceramic one. Peel the potatoes and rinse them under running water to remove dirt. Then slice the potatoes into rounds directly into the dish. Drizzle with some vegetable oil. Sprinkle with salt and spices. Mix everything and spread evenly in the dish.
Step 3
Add some grated cheese to bind the layers. Peel, rinse, and finely chop the onion. Spread the chopped onion over the potatoes.
Step 4
Slice the zucchini and layer it next. If the zucchini is very mature, peel it and remove the core. Mine is young.
Step 5
Cut the chicken fillet into pieces and lightly tenderize them with a kitchen mallet.
Step 6
Evenly spread the chicken fillet pieces over the dish. Sprinkle with salt.
Step 7
Spread sour cream over the chicken surface.
Step 8
Wash the tomatoes, remove the stems, and slice them into rounds or slices. Arrange the tomatoes on top and sprinkle with grated cheese. Put the dish in the oven preheated to 356°F (180°C) and bake for 50-60 minutes. Adjust the time based on your oven.
Step 9
The finished dish will start to brown slightly on top. Remove the dish from the oven, let it cool slightly, and serve. Enjoy your meal!
