Cottage Cheese Pie in a Multicooker

Quick, simple, and delicious! Cottage Cheese Pie in a Multicooker is an easy homemade dessert for cozy tea time. It resembles a cheesecake loaf with a moist, dense crumb. Made from simple ingredients, the dough takes only 5 minutes to prepare. Then remove the bowl and take out the pie. Mine came out easily, but you may use a steamer insert.

Easy
About 30 min.
Preparation
Step 1
Use cottage cheese and sour cream of any fat content. Choose natural dairy without vegetable fats. All ingredients should be at room temperature, so take them out of the fridge in advance.
Step 2
Place cottage cheese and sour cream in a bowl and mix with a spoon or spatula until smooth. If the cottage cheese is too grainy, blend it.
Step 3
In another bowl, crack the eggs. Beat the eggs with a mixer, gradually adding sugar, until light and fluffy.
Step 4
Pour the beaten eggs into the cottage cheese mixture, stir with a spatula until uniform.
Step 5
Sift half the flour and the baking powder into the mixture. Mix, then gradually add the remaining flour in small portions, kneading the dough. You may need more or less flour than the recipe indicates - focus on the dough’s consistency, not quantity.
Step 6
The dough should be thick but not too stiff. I had about 50 g (1.8 oz) flour left unused.
Step 7
Grease the multicooker bowl with butter. Place the dough inside and smooth the top with a spatula.
Step 8
Insert the bowl into the multicooker, close the lid. Set the program suitable for baking. On my model it is called “Bake.” If your machine allows, set the timer for 60 minutes. After the signal, turn off the multicooker but don’t open it right away - let the pie rest inside for 20 minutes.
Step 9
Remove the bowl and take the pie out. Mine came out easily, but you can use a steamer insert.
Step 10
Cool the pie and serve. Optionally sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving. Enjoy!
