Preparation
Step 1
Choose high-quality, natural cottage cheese without vegetable fats. It will affect the flavor of the dish. For a smoother dessert, use non-grainy cottage cheese. The yogurt should be plain and unsweetened.
Step 2
Place the cottage cheese in a bowl and add yogurt. I used thick Greek yogurt, but you can also use liquid drinkable yogurt - just use less. Add a pinch of vanilla or cinnamon for flavor. Blend everything with an immersion blender until smooth and creamy, like baby food. I added a bit more yogurt to get the desired consistency. If you want to use honey, add it now with the yogurt.
Step 3
Prepare the fruits. Slice the banana into rings.
Step 4
Wash, dry, and slice the strawberries into rings. You can also use any other fruits or berries you have on hand.
Step 5
Take glasses or dessert bowls. Add a layer of the cottage cheese mixture to the bottom.
Step 6
Place a layer of strawberry slices tightly on top.
Step 7
Add another layer of cottage cheese mixture, then a layer of banana slices.
Step 8
Top with another layer of the cottage cheese mix. Garnish with fruit slices and serve. Enjoy!
