Preparation
Step 1
Rinse the chicken under running water and pat it dry with paper towels. Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan. Add the chicken and cook over high heat for 5–7 minutes, until the pieces are golden brown.
Step 2
While the chicken cooks, peel and rinse the onion and carrot. Cut the onion into half-rings or smaller pieces and coarsely grate the carrot.
Step 3
Add the prepared vegetables to the chicken and cook everything together for about 5 minutes.
Step 4
Add the tomato paste and 1 cup of hot water. Season with salt and spices to taste. Mix well, cover the pan and simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes.
Step 5
Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
Step 6
Mix a small amount of flour with 1 cup of cold water until smooth. Peel and finely chop or crush the garlic.
Step 7
Pour the flour mixture into the pan and add the garlic. Stir well, bring the sauce to a boil and remove it from the heat. Divide the pasta among plates, top with the chicken and spoon over the gravy. Sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve hot.
