Easy
About 1 hour.
Preparation
Step 1
Rinse the chicken drumsticks under running water, then pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Step 2
For marinating, take a large mixing bowl. Pour in soy sauce. Peel the garlic and press it through a garlic press.
Step 3
Add salt and spices. Keep in mind that soy sauce is already salty. Choose any spices you like. You can use a premade chicken spice mix. I add ground pepper mix, paprika, and dried basil. Mix all marinade ingredients together.
Step 4
Place the chicken drumsticks into the bowl and coat them thoroughly with the marinade. Let them sit for at least 30 minutes. If you have more time, marinate for 2-3 hours.
Step 5
Set your multicooker to the “Bake” mode and preheat it until hot. Then pour vegetable oil into the bowl and place the marinated chicken drumsticks inside. Fry them for 20-30 minutes (adjust according to your multicooker).
Step 6
Gradually, the meat will change color and start browning. You can cover with a lid for faster cooking, but this will prevent a crispy crust from forming.
Step 7
Once the drumsticks are golden brown and slightly smaller in size, pierce the meat with a knife. If the juice runs clear, the meat is done; if pink, cook longer. Remove the drumsticks from the multicooker, plate them, and serve with any side dish. Enjoy!
