Chebureki with Meat

Preparation
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients needed for the recipe.
Step 2
Add the baking soda and sour cream to a bowl. Mix well.
Step 3
Then add the cottage cheese and mix thoroughly again.
Step 4
Crack in the egg, pour in the kefir, and add the salt. Mix everything together.
Step 5
Add half of the flour and some of the oil. Mix well. Finally, add the remaining flour and oil.
Step 6
Knead into a soft dough and set aside while preparing the filling.
Step 7
Place the ground meat and finely chopped onion in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Add a few tablespoons of water and mix everything thoroughly. The filling should be moist.
Step 8
Roll out the chebureki dough thinly and cut out circles of your desired size.
Step 9
Place about a tablespoon of the prepared meat filling onto each dough circle.
Step 10
Fold the chebureki in half and press the edges firmly with a fork to seal.
Step 11
Heat enough oil in a frying pan to come halfway up the sides of the chebureki. Fry, turning occasionally, until both sides are beautifully golden brown. Keep the heat at a moderate level to prevent the outside from burning before the filling is fully cooked.
Step 12
Serve the chebureki warm, although they are just as delicious once cooled. Enjoy!
