Advice
You can substitute chicken with turkey or any other meat, but cooking time and calorie count will vary accordingly.
Preparation
Step 1
A simple, quick, and affordable dish. Start by preparing all ingredients. You can use other chicken parts like breast fillet, drumsticks, or thighs, with or without bones. You can use homemade or store-bought adjika.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix medium-spicy adjika with sour cream. If the adjika is very spicy, dilute it with an equal amount of tomato paste or sauce. For less heat, use less adjika or replace it with sweet chili sauce.
Step 3
Mix everything thoroughly until smooth.
Step 4
Rinse and pat dry the chicken meat. Place it in a bowl. Add meat seasoning, paprika, and salt to taste. Stir well. If using a spice mix, read the label - it may already contain salt, so adjust accordingly to avoid oversalting.
Step 5
Add the adjika and sour cream sauce to the meat. Mix thoroughly. Let it marinate for 1 hour at room temperature, or longer in the fridge.
Step 6
Transfer the marinated meat into a baking dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 50 minutes.
Step 7
Sprinkle the baked chicken thigh fillet with fresh herbs and serve with any side dish. Bon appétit!
