Ingredients
Preparation
Step 1
Use chilled chicken breast fillet for a more dietary dish. Broccoli can be fresh or frozen. If frozen, thaw first to avoid excess liquid. Use low-fat sour cream, one large egg, and hard cheese.
Step 2
Rinse the chicken fillet and pat it dry. Cut into large chunks.
Step 3
Take a baking dish (mine was ceramic, 9×5.5×2.5 inches). Grease it with a drop of vegetable oil. Place the chicken pieces inside, season with salt and any spices you like (I used paprika). Mix to coat the meat evenly.
Step 4
Separate the broccoli into florets and place them between the chicken pieces. I didn’t boil the broccoli beforehand, but you can blanch it for 2 minutes if you prefer. Finely chop a garlic clove and sprinkle over the meat.
Step 5
Prepare the sauce: in a small bowl, crack the egg, add sour cream and water. Season with salt and pepper. Mix with a fork until smooth.
Step 6
Pour the mixture over the chicken and broccoli in the baking dish.
Step 7
Grate the cheese on a medium grater and sprinkle over the top.
Step 8
Bake in a preheated oven at 350 °F for about 30 minutes, until the sauce sets and the cheese melts. Remove from the oven.
Step 9
Serve hot. Enjoy!
