Preparation
Step 1
How to make fluffy yeast dough for buns with water? Prepare the ingredients. Sift the flour in advance to aerate it - this helps the dough rise better and makes the buns fluffier.
Step 2
Warm the water to 34-38°C (93-100°F). At this temperature, yeast works actively and the dough rises well. Add dry yeast, salt, and sugar to the warm water. Mix.
Step 3
Melt the butter separately (you can use a microwave). The melted butter should not be hot. Cool it until warm and add it to the bowl. Mix it in.
Step 4
Gradually add flour and knead the dough. Judge the flour amount by the dough - you may need a little more or less than the recipe states. The finished dough should be soft, tender, and elastic. To prevent sticking, grease your hands with vegetable oil. Cover the bowl with a towel and place it in a warm spot to rise.
Step 5
When the dough has risen, punch it down with your hands, transfer it to the table, and use it to make delicious, aromatic baked goods.
Step 6
I baked buns in the oven. The filling can be sweet or savory, or you can make them without filling. Once you shape the buns (or fried pies), let them rest on the table for about 10 minutes. Then brush the tops with egg yolk and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (356°F) for 20-25 minutes, until golden. Enjoy baking!
