Step 1
How to cook wild duck shulyum soup? Prepare the ingredients from the list. Before making the soup, cut the duck into medium serving pieces and simmer for 30 minutes, skimming off foam occasionally. Wash the vegetables and herbs and pat them dry with paper towels.

Peel the carrot and cut it into large pieces. Peel the onion.
Step 3
Add the chopped carrot and peeled onion to the boiling duck broth. Add a bay leaf and spices: basil, celery root, and black pepper.

Peel the potatoes and cut into large wedges.

Peel the garlic cloves and crush them with the flat side of a knife.

Cut the bell pepper into large pieces.

Cut the tomatoes into large wedges. You can also use small cherry tomatoes.

About 1 hour after the broth starts boiling, add the bell pepper, potatoes, tomatoes, and hot chili pepper. Cover with a lid and let it steep for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, add chopped herbs to the soup and let it rest off the heat for another 30 minutes. After that, the dish will be ready!
