Easy
About 1 hour.
Preparation
Step 1
If you wish, you can add your own ingredients and spices to taste, such as ground coriander or ready-made pork seasoning mix. You can use meat from any part of the carcass, as long as it’s boneless. Ham, neck, or loin will all work. I used ham. Olive oil can be replaced with any vegetable oil you prefer.
Step 2
Wash the meat and pat it dry.
Step 3
In a small bowl, mix paprika, hot pepper, khmeli-suneli, dried garlic, ground black pepper, and salt. Add olive oil to the spices and whisk thoroughly with a fork. Let the mixture sit for 15-20 minutes so the marinade thickens. You can omit hot pepper if desired. Since saltiness, sweetness, bitterness, heat, acidity, and spiciness preferences are individual, always adjust the spices and seasonings to your taste!
Step 4
Rub the meat with the thick marinade and let it rest for 20 minutes to absorb the flavors. If possible, marinate for several hours or overnight.
Step 5
Place the prepared meat in a baking dish lined with foil. You can also place the pork in an oven bag.
Step 6
Cover the top of the pork with foil so it stays juicy during baking.
Step 7
Place the ham into a preheated oven at 180 °C (355 °F) for 1 hour. Remove the cooked pork from the oven and let it rest under the foil for another 15-20 minutes.
Step 8
Transfer the roasted pork with spices to a serving dish, slice it, and serve. Enjoy!
