Preparation
Step 1
Milk can be any fat level. Choose ice cream according to your taste, but it must be creamy - premium ice cream works best. Take ice cream from the freezer and milk from the fridge. A pinch of vanilla is enough. Adjust ingredient amounts to taste.
Step 2
The quality of ice cream will determine the flavor of the milkshake. Cut the ice cream into pieces so the blender can mix it faster.
Step 3
Use a countertop blender; an immersion blender is not suitable, as it will splash and won’t create milk foam. Pour the milk into the blender jar.
Step 4
Add the ice cream pieces to the blender.
Step 5
Add a pinch of vanilla next. Close the blender lid and turn it to maximum speed.
Step 6
Blend all ingredients for about 1 minute. The milk mixture will become smooth, and a thick foam will form on top. The milkshake is ready!
Step 7
Pour the milkshake into tall glasses and serve immediately. Optionally, sprinkle grated chocolate or add a few berries on top - they will sit nicely on the foam. Enjoy!
