Preparation
Step 1
Slice the turkey fillet into portion-sized pieces across the grain. Choose any cheese that can be easily grated - it will add the main flavor to the turkey.
Step 2
Season the meat with salt and spices. Add paprika and aromatic dried herbs. You can use a ready-made blend or single herbs such as dried basil or oregano. Rub the spices into the meat and coat with vegetable oil to prevent drying during baking. If time allows, let the meat rest to marinate lightly.
Step 3
Place each fillet piece onto a separate sheet of foil.
Step 4
Wrap the foil around each piece, forming a small “boat.”
Step 5
Grate the cheese on a medium grater and generously sprinkle it over each fillet piece in its foil boat.
Step 6
Place the foil boats on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 390°F (200°C) for 25-35 minutes. Adjust the time according to your oven.
Step 7
The dish will turn golden and appetizing, with lightly browned cheese. Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Serve the turkey with cheese directly in the foil boats or transfer to plates. Enjoy!
