Advice
Choose juicy but firm tomatoes. Soft ones lose their shape during slicing and may turn into a mush, ruining the salad’s appearance.
Preparation
Step 1
The quantity and ratio of ingredients are approximate. You can adjust them as you like. Mayonnaise can be replaced with sour cream for dressing.
Step 2
Boil the eggs in advance. Place them in cold water, bring to a boil, and cook for 7-8 minutes. Drain the hot water, cool the eggs in cold water, and peel them once cooled.
Step 3
Rinse the tomatoes thoroughly under running water and pat dry with a towel. Cut each tomato in half and remove the stem base.
Step 4
Slice the tomatoes into large chunks and place them in a salad bowl.
Step 5
Slice the boiled eggs and add them to the tomatoes.
Step 6
Finely chop fresh herbs - dill, parsley, or green onions work well. Peel a few garlic cloves, press them through a garlic press, and add to the salad with the herbs.
Step 7
Add mayonnaise (or sour cream if preferred) and mix well. Add a pinch of salt if desired.
Step 8
Transfer the salad to a serving bowl, chill slightly, and serve. Enjoy!
