Tomato and Onion Salad

Simple, juicy, and very tasty! Perfect for everyday meals. Tomato and Onion Salad is made with minimal ingredients. Ready quickly, it complements grilled meat or any main dish. Adding spices can give it a new flavor.

Preparation
Step 1
Use red onion for the salad. Pick any available herbs; I used parsley. For spices, I add a little ground black pepper, but you can add dried aromatic herbs or your choice.

Peel the onion and rinse it in cold water. Slice the onion into half-rings.
Step 3
Place the sliced onion in a small bowl and pour lemon juice over it. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes to marinate slightly.

Meanwhile, prepare the tomatoes. Rinse them under running water and pat dry with a towel. Cut each tomato in half and remove the stem. Then slice into large wedges.
Step 5
Rinse fresh herbs, pat dry, and finely chop.
Step 6
In a large salad bowl, combine the sliced tomatoes and marinated onions. Add chopped herbs. Season with salt and a little ground black pepper. Mix all ingredients together. Optionally, drizzle with olive oil. Serve as a perfect side for meat dishes. Enjoy!
