Thin-Crust Pizza Like in a Pizzeria

Incredibly juicy, delicious, and vibrant! Pure delight! This thin-crust pizza is now easy to make at home. With this recipe, you can bake one large pizza for the whole baking sheet or two 30 cm (12-inch) pizzas. You can use any toppings you like.

Preparation
Step 1
Prepare ingredients for the dough. Use high-grade flour. Any vegetable oil works, I use olive oil. Make sure to use yeast that’s activated in liquid (water).
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix warm water (heated to about 104°F), sugar, salt, and yeast. The water should be warm but not hot — hot water can kill the yeast. Let the mixture sit in a warm place for 15 minutes. A foamy top should form — this means the yeast is active. If it doesn’t, the yeast is no good — try another batch.
Step 3
Add most of the sifted flour and the olive oil. Mix and knead into a soft, smooth dough, adding the remaining flour as needed. The amount of flour may vary slightly depending on its type.
Step 4
If the dough is still sticky and you feel like adding more flour than in the recipe — don’t overdo it. It’s better to leave the dough slightly sticky. The stickiness will go away as it rises and you roll it out.
Step 5
Cover the bowl with a towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour. I use a slightly preheated oven — the dough rises perfectly there.
Step 6
Now prepare the tomato sauce ingredients. You can also use store-bought pizza sauce.
Step 7
In a bowl, mix tomato paste, chili sauce, sugar, and salt. If the paste is very thick, add a little water to thin it.

Prepare the toppings.

Slice the sausage into rounds. Slice the tomato into rounds.
Step 10
Remove seeds from the bell pepper and slice it into rings.

Slice the mozzarella cheese thinly. You can use either brined or unbrined mozzarella, or any cheese that melts well.
Step 12
Roll out the risen dough and spread it on a pizza pan or baking sheet.

Spread tomato sauce on the dough and sprinkle with dried oregano.
Step 14
Arrange the sausage, tomato slices, and bell pepper rings on top.

Place mozzarella slices and olives on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 480–490°F (250°C) for 5–7 minutes or a bit longer, until done.
Step 16
Slice the finished pizza and serve immediately. Enjoy!
