Thick Meat Soup with Pumpkin and Vegetable Mix

A quick dish made from quite affordable ingredients! A very simple recipe for a hearty thick soup with beef, pork, pumpkin, and vegetable mix that will pleasantly surprise with its amazing flavors and be loved by many.

Preparation
Step 1
First, prepare the necessary ingredients with spices for a hearty meat and vegetable soup.
Step 2
Take a suitable pot and pour in 1.2 liters (about 5 cups) of cold water, then place the pot on the stove and add 500 g (about 1.1 lb) of beef on the bone and pieces of pork meat.
Step 3
Turn the stove to high heat, cover the pot with a lid, and bring the water to a boil, then remove the foam that forms.
Step 4
Add a quarter of a head of onion to the pot and continue cooking the meat on low heat for one hour.
Step 5
Cut 150 g (about 5 oz) of pumpkin into small irregular cubes, then remove the cooked onion from the pot and add the pumpkin pieces.
Step 6
Add 500 g (about 1.1 lb) of previously thawed vegetable mix to the pot and mix all ingredients well.
Step 7
Turn the stove to high heat, cover the pot with a lid, and bring all ingredients to a boil.
Step 8
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, season with salt to taste, add one tablespoon of dried herbs (basil, parsley, and dill), two bay leaves, and ground pepper mix to taste.
Step 9
Stir all the ingredients well, cover the pot with a lid, and continue cooking the soup on low heat for 15 minutes until fully cooked.
Step 10
Serve the prepared thick meat soup with pumpkin and vegetable mix into bowls for lunch or dinner.
