Tangy Yeast Pancakes on Water
Not sure what to make for breakfast? Make pancakes! Tangy yeast pancakes turn out tender and fluffy; to cook them through, cover the pan with a lid while frying. Serve with honey, sour cream, or jam.

Preparation
Step 1
Pour warm water and vegetable oil into a bowl, add sugar and salt, and stir.
Step 2
Sift the flour and add it to the liquid ingredients together with the yeast. Whisk to avoid lumps. Keep in mind you may need a little less or a little more flour - add it in portions and judge by the batter consistency.
Step 3
Leave the batter in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat it.
Step 5
Scoop up the batter with a tablespoon, place onto the hot pan, and fry until golden on both sides.
