Table of volume measurements:
- teaspoon - 5 ml
- dessert spoon - 10 ml
- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
Choose firm bell peppers, not wilted. It’s better to take peppers of different colors to make the dish bright and beautiful.
Step 2
Wash the bell peppers, pat them dry, and cut in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds and, if desired, the stem.
Step 3
Place feta cheese in a bowl and mash with a fork.
Step 4
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Any cheese suitable for salads will work, from regular to suluguni. The main thing is that it tastes good.
Step 5
Wash parsley and dill, shake off moisture, and finely chop. You can also replace or supplement with other herbs such as cilantro, green onion, or a mix of herbs.
Step 6
In a bowl, combine the two types of cheese. Add olive oil, garlic passed through a press, paprika, ground black pepper, and mix.
Step 7
Add the chopped herbs and mix again. If necessary, add salt carefully, since feta is already salty. You may also add your own spices besides paprika to taste.
Step 8
Fill the pepper halves tightly with the cheese mixture.
Step 9
Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish greased with vegetable oil. Arrange them so they don’t tip over and the filling doesn’t spill out. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes. The exact time depends on your oven.
Step 10
Transfer the cooked peppers to a plate. It’s best to serve hot, while the cheese is still stretchy. Enjoy!
