Steamed Turkey in a Multicooker
Tasty and healthy family dinner with no fuss! Steamed turkey in a multicooker cooks together with a vegetable side. Use any seasonal vegetables - fresh and natural are best. You can also cook it in a steamer, or in a colander set over a pot.

Preparation
Step 1
How to make steamed turkey fillet in a multicooker? Prepare the ingredients. Any turkey fillet works - breast or thigh. Choose chilled meat; it will be juicier. The vegetables can be any mix. I used cauliflower, zucchini, carrot, and tomatoes. Both fresh and frozen vegetables work; you don’t need to thaw them first.
Step 2
Rinse the meat, pat dry, and cut into small pieces across the grain - this keeps it more tender. Salt the turkey and season it. I use ground black pepper and curry, but choose spices to your taste.
Step 3
Peel the carrot and slice into rounds about 1/4 inch (0.5 cm) thick.
Step 4
Slice the zucchini into rounds or half-moons, depending on size. For steaming, young zucchini is best - it tastes nicer. If the zucchini is mature, peel it and remove the seeds. Young zucchini doesn’t need peeling.
Step 5
Cut the tomatoes into large wedges.
Step 6
Take the steaming basket. Place the turkey pieces on the bottom. Put the vegetables on top, including any frozen ones. Salt the vegetables. Pour clean water into the multicooker bowl. Set the basket with the meat and vegetables in place.
Step 7
Select the steam program and set the time to 60 minutes. The name of the program may vary by model. The time is approximate and depends on your appliance’s power and how it runs. Cook until the end signal. You can also steam turkey with vegetables in a steamer - or improvise one using a pot and a colander.
Step 8
When serving, mix the meat with the vegetables. Enjoy your meal!
