Easy
About 20 min.
Preparation
Step 1
Peel the potatoes in advance and rinse off any dirt.
Step 2
Cut the peeled potatoes into 2-3 pieces so they are about the same size. The larger the pieces, the longer they will cook. Place them into the steaming basket that comes with the multicooker.
Step 3
Pour 1 cup (240 ml) of water into the main bowl of the multicooker.
Step 4
Insert the steaming basket with potatoes into the multicooker.
Step 5
Close the lid and set the multicooker to “Steam” mode for 30 minutes. Do not open the lid during cooking. Once the water boils, the potatoes will begin to cook.
Step 6
Separately, melt some butter. Finely chop fresh herbs such as dill, parsley, or green onion.
Step 7
When the timer beeps, open the lid. Check the potatoes with a knife - they should be soft.
Step 8
Transfer the steamed potatoes onto a plate. Drizzle with melted butter, sprinkle with salt and herbs. Serve hot as a side dish with any meat or fish. Enjoy!
