Steamed Chicken Breast with Turmeric and Cumin

For this recipe, it's best to use fresh chicken, not frozen, otherwise the cooked meat may turn out dry.
Preparation
Step 1
Remove the skin from the chicken breast and cut the fillet off the bone. You can also use two ready chicken fillets.
Step 2
Holding the knife at an angle, slice each fillet into three pieces.
Step 3
Gently pound the meat on both sides. It's convenient to do this wrapped in plastic wrap. Transfer the meat to a bowl and season with all spices and herbs except turmeric.
Step 4
Mix the flour with turmeric.
Step 5
Coat the meat in the flour mixture and place it on a greased steaming tray or sieve placed over steam. You can also use a multicooker, steamer, mantovarka, or simply a pot with boiling water and a mesh stand. Steam the chicken for about 25 minutes. Exact time depends on the size of the chicken pieces.
Step 6
While the chicken is cooking, prepare a salad.
