- dessert spoon - 10 ml
- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
First, prepare all the necessary ingredients. Boil the chicken breast fillet in lightly salted water for 15–20 minutes. To cook it faster, you can cut the fillet into several pieces before boiling. Hard-boil the eggs: cook them for 18 minutes after the water comes to a boil. Leave everything to cool.
Step 2
Prepare the onion and mushrooms. Cut the onion into small cubes and fry it in a pan with vegetable oil. Slice the champignons into thin pieces; they can be a little larger than the onion pieces. When the onion becomes soft and yellow, add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and fry everything together until done, about 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. In the end, there should be no liquid left in the pan. Remove from the heat and leave to cool.
Step 3
You will need a flat serving dish for the salad. Before placing the first layer on the dish, make a thin mayonnaise pattern on the bottom. This way, the bottom layer of the salad will not fall apart when serving it from the shared plate.
Step 4
Place the chicken as the first layer. It needs to be finely chopped.
Step 5
Place the cooled mushrooms with onion on top of the chicken. Then spread mayonnaise over the top.
Step 6
Add the Korean-style carrots as the next layer. Set aside the long carrot strips, as they will be needed for decorating at the end.
Step 7
Finely chop the eggs and place them over the carrots. Now spread mayonnaise not only over the top layer, but over the whole salad. Pressing lightly, shape it into a mound.
Step 8
Grate the cheese on a medium grater. As you grate, sprinkle the cheese over the salad on all sides so it does not stick together and stays airy.
Step 9
Make a “spiderweb” from the reserved carrot strips. You can make a little spider from black olives and peas. Spiderweb Salad is ready.
