Spicy chicken with salsa

Preparation
Step 1
Make 3-4 diagonal slashes on the top of each chicken breast and place them in a non-reactive bowl. Combine all the marinade ingredients, season well with salt and pepper, and coat the chicken thoroughly. Cover and leave to marinate for 3-4 hours, or overnight for maximum flavor.
Step 2
For the corn and avocado salsa, mix the ingredients together, season with salt and pepper, and set aside at room temperature for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Step 3
Preheat the grill to medium-high and place the chicken on a grill rack in a single layer. Grill for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
Step 4
Serve the grilled chicken with the prepared salsa and warmed tortillas if desired.
