Spicy Cabbage Salad with Carrot and Onion, Korean-Style

Preparation
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients and spices to make the tastiest Korean-style cabbage salad.

Cut 1 kg (2.2 lb) of white cabbage into large pieces, then place it in a large bowl.
Step 3
Add 1 tablespoon of salt and knead the cabbage well with your hands for about 15 minutes so it releases juice.
Step 4
Grate 2 carrots into the bowl with the cabbage using a Korean-style grater.
Step 5
Thinly slice 2 onions into half-rings.
Step 6
Pour 5 tablespoons of vegetable oil into a frying pan set on the stove.
Step 7
Add the sliced onion to the heated oil.
Step 8
Stir-fry the onion over high heat until golden.

Add 1/2 teaspoon hot red pepper to the pan with the fried onion.

Add 1 teaspoon paprika.

Add 1 teaspoon ground coriander.

Add 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.

Mix the onion and spices well in the pan.

Add 1 tablespoon sugar to the bowl with the vegetables, then add 3-4 garlic cloves pressed through a garlic press, and add the fried onion with spices.

Mix all the ingredients well in the bowl.

Add 1 tablespoon of 70% vinegar essence to the bowl.

Mix all the ingredients well again.

Finely chop a little fresh herbs of your choice.
