Smoothie Bowl

A smoothie bowl differs from a regular smoothie in that it's served in a deep bowl and eaten with a spoon. It's perfect for breakfast or a light dinner, very nutritious, and energizing. With endless combinations of fruits and berries, you can create your own unique and delicious smoothie bowl.

Preparation
Step 1
You can freeze the banana in advance - this will make it sweeter and prevent it from browning too quickly. If needed, remove the hazelnut shells and roast them. You can add more fruits, berries, nuts, or seeds of your choice. Instead of yogurt, you can use regular or plant-based milk (like coconut or almond).
Step 2
Soak the rolled oats in plain yogurt in advance and mix well. Let it sit for about 2 hours until the oats soften. Alternatively, you can use oat bran instead of oats.
Step 3
Peel the banana and slice it into small rounds. Wash the strawberries thoroughly, remove the stems, and cut them into medium pieces.
Step 4
Add the soaked oats with yogurt to a blender. Then add the sliced banana and strawberries, and the hazelnuts. Optionally, add a spoonful of honey for sweetness and nutritional value.
Step 5
Blend everything for a few minutes until smooth. The consistency should be thick, not runny - this ensures the toppings don’t sink into the bowl.
Step 6
Pour the smoothie into a bowl and decorate with fruits, berries, nuts, and seeds of your choice. I used banana and strawberry, with coconut flakes, poppy seeds, and a few mint leaves for aroma. Serve immediately for the best taste and appearance. Enjoy!
