Skillet Bread Pizza

- teaspoon - 5 ml
- dessert spoon - 10 ml
- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
Use any white bread - baguette, loaf, or toast bread. Day-old bread works great. Choose your preferred toppings. I’m using sliced sausage, tomato, and olives.
Step 2
Cut the bread into medium pieces. Some smaller pieces can be used to fill in the gaps.
Step 3
Crack the eggs into a bowl, add salt, sour cream, and flour. Mix well with a fork or whisk until smooth.
Step 4
Heat a skillet over low heat and lightly grease it with vegetable oil. Arrange the bread pieces in a single layer in the pan.
Step 5
Pour the egg mixture over the bread and press the pieces down with a spoon so they absorb the liquid and form a pancake-like base. Cover the pan with a lid and keep the heat low.
Step 6
While the base is cooking, prepare the toppings. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
Step 7
Slice the tomato into rounds.
Step 8
Slice the olives into rings.
Step 9
Cook the base for a few minutes, then flip it. Spread it with tomato sauce.
Step 10
Generously sprinkle with grated cheese. Add slices of sausage, tomato, and olives on top.
Step 11
Cover with a lid again and cook for a few more minutes until the cheese melts.
Step 12
Slice the pizza and serve hot. Enjoy!
