Cut the bread into slices that are not too thick. If the slices are large, cut them in half.

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the bread on both sides until golden brown.

Transfer the bread to a plate. Peel the garlic. Rub the hot bread with the garlic on all sides.
