Easy
About 10 min.
Preparation
Step 1
Different recipes use different ratios of semolina to milk. This depends on the thickness you want. According to this recipe, the porridge will be liquid. For thicker porridge, add 3-5 tbsp of semolina.
Step 2
Pour milk into the multicooker bowl. Add semolina. Add salt and sugar to taste and mix with a silicone or multicooker spatula. I added a pinch of salt and 1 tbsp sugar. Some recipes suggest greasing the bowl with butter, but I did not and it didn’t stick.
Step 3
To prevent milk from boiling over, place a steaming container on top. How much the milk rises depends on the cooking temperature.
Step 4
Close the lid and set the “Milk Porridge” mode for 10 minutes. If your model doesn’t have this, use the normal “Boil” mode, but set temperature to 194-203°F (90-95°C). Cooking time depends on your multicooker. You can stir occasionally.
Step 5
When done, turn off the multicooker. Check consistency. For thicker porridge, leave it on “Keep Warm” for 10-15 minutes. Add butter and stir.
Step 6
Serve the porridge immediately in a bowl. Enjoy your meal!
