Savory Cake with Chicken and Meat Mince
A cake that men all over the world will appreciate. Savory non-sweet cakes are very popular. A cake made from minced meat is very filling because it has a meat base. The filling complements and reveals the flavor of this interesting way of serving a meat dish.

Step 1
How do you make a cake from minced meat? Start with the “dough” for the savory cake. Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Use minced meat from any meat or chicken you like. If you buy ready-made mince, choose a good-quality one without additives. But it is better to make the mince yourself. I used chicken and pork mince. Use large eggs. The oil should be refined.
Step 2
Cut the white bread loaf into slices, put them into a blender bowl, and pour the milk over them. Leave for 5 minutes to soften, then blend until smooth. You can also mash the softened bread with a fork. The main thing is to get a uniform mixture.
Step 3
For mixing the meat “dough” for the cake, take a deep bowl with a rounded bottom. Transfer the blended bread there. Crack the eggs into the bowl. Add salt and pepper and mix well.
Step 4
Turn the oven on to preheat to 200°C (390°F). Add the minced meat and knead the mixture thoroughly. It turns out slightly runny. Divide the mixture into 3 equal parts.
Step 5
For baking, use a round pan about 20 cm (8 inches) in diameter. I used a cast-iron frying pan. Grease the pan with vegetable oil and spread 1 part of the meat mixture evenly in the pan. Bake on the middle rack of the oven for 15-20 minutes. The finished meat layer will become lighter in color and slightly browned. The cooking time may vary depending on the type of mince, the cookware, and your oven. Rely on the appearance of the layers.
Step 6
While all 3 layers are baking and cooling, prepare the filling for the cake. Choose the herbs to your taste.
Step 7
Peel and rinse the onion and carrot. Grate the carrot on a coarse grater. Cut the onion into small cubes. In this form, the vegetables will cook faster and the filling will be more uniform.
Step 8
For frying, take a pan that will fit both the carrot and the onion. Heat it and carefully pour in the vegetable oil. Since the carrot cooks longer than the onion, fry it first. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 3 minutes.
Step 9
When the carrot begins to soften, add the chopped onion to the pan and fry for another 7 minutes over medium heat. Be sure to stir so the vegetables cook evenly and do not dry out. Add a pinch of salt and stir. Remove from the heat and let cool completely.
Step 10
Wash the tomatoes well and remove the stem area. Cut 1 tomato into slices. Leave the second one for decoration.
Step 11
When the layers have cooled, start assembling the cake.
Step 12
Add 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise to the carrot-onion mixture and stir well. Spread the resulting cream over the first layer.
Step 13
Cover with the second layer, press it down a little, and spread with mayonnaise. Evenly distribute the sliced tomato on top. Cover with the third layer and press down slightly.
Step 14
Peel the garlic, rinse it, and place it into a blender bowl. Remove any wilted leaves from the herbs, rinse and dry them. Set some herbs aside for decoration; add the rest to the garlic. Add the mayonnaise there as well. Blend well until the cream takes on a green tint.
Step 15
Spread the resulting cream over the top layer. Place the cake in the cold for at least 2 hours. Before serving, decorate with herbs and vegetables.
