Salad with Pomegranate, Walnuts, and Chicken

Preparation
Step 1
Wash the potatoes thoroughly and boil them unpeeled in boiling water until soft. Drain the hot water and let the potatoes cool. Boil the eggs in boiling water for 7-8 minutes, then cool them in cold water.

Also boil the chicken fillet until cooked. Place it into boiling water, add a little salt, and cook for about 20 minutes. Cool the chicken for the salad. Peel the boiled potatoes and eggs, then peel the fresh onion and carrot.

Chop the walnuts with a knife and toast them in a dry skillet until fragrant. Transfer to a plate and cool.
Step 4
Finely chop the onion and sauté it with a small amount of vegetable oil until soft and translucent. You can let it become lightly golden. Let the onion cool.

The salad is assembled in layers. Place a serving ring on a plate. First layer - grated potato. Press it down slightly to make it firm. Spread with mayonnaise.

Grate the fresh carrot on a fine or medium grater and spread as the second layer.
Step 7
Cut the chicken meat into small cubes. Spread the chicken and sautéed onion as the next layer.
Step 8
Grate the eggs and add them as a layer, then sprinkle a layer of walnuts.
Step 9
Peel the apple, grate it on a coarse grater, and add as the next layer. The final layer will be pomegranate seeds.
Step 10
Remove the serving ring from the finished salad. Before serving, let the salad rest and chill in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
