Salad with Mushrooms, Pineapple, and Cheese

Made from simple ingredients with an unusual, bright taste! Salad with mushrooms, pineapple, and cheese is festive and delicious. Layered, it looks elegant and will decorate any table. Mushrooms can be fried, marinated, or raw.

Preparation
Step 1
How to make salad with mushrooms, pineapple, and cheese? Very simple! First, prepare all the listed ingredients.
Step 2
Wash and dry pork. Cut into slices. Use any part of the pork (ham, tenderloin, loin, etc.). I used a lean cut of ham.
Step 3
Optionally, marinate the pork. It will become juicier and more flavorful, improving the salad’s taste. If no time, skip steps 3-4.
Step 4
Place pork in a bowl, add vegetable oil and soy sauce. Sprinkle with dried garlic and ground pepper, mix, and let marinate 30-40 minutes (or overnight).
Step 5
Wash, dry, and slice mushrooms.
Step 6
Clean bell pepper from seeds and dice finely.
Step 7
Drain pineapples from syrup and pat dry. Dice finely. If syrup remains, salad may release juice.
Step 8
Grate cheese on a coarse grater. Choose any type you like (regular cheese, mozzarella, suluguni, etc.).
Step 9
Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry mushrooms until golden. At the end, season with salt and pepper.
Step 10
Return the pan to heat, add pork with marinade, and fry over high heat until browned and cooked through.

Let the fried meat cool, then cut into thin strips.

You can mix all ingredients in a salad bowl, but it looks better layered. Place a 16-18 cm (6-7 inch) cooking ring on a plate. Add fried pork to the bottom, press down, drizzle with mayonnaise (a piping bag works best).

Add canned pineapple as the next layer, drizzle with mayonnaise.

Add fried mushrooms on top. Mayonnaise here is optional. You can replace fried mushrooms with marinated ones.

Sprinkle with grated cheese and drizzle with mayonnaise.

Add bell pepper as the final layer. Choose color as you like, or replace with diced tomatoes (remove seeds first).
Step 17
Let the salad rest in the fridge 1-2 hours before serving. Remove the ring, garnish with mushrooms and greens. Enjoy!
