Preparation
Step 1
How do you make rice porridge fritters? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. It is best to use porridge made from rice that is not parboiled, so the grains stick together well, and not freshly cooked porridge, but yesterday’s. If the porridge is already sweet, reduce the amount of sugar.
Step 2
Place the porridge in a deep bowl. Crack in the egg, then add the salt and sugar.
Step 3
Mix the mixture until smooth; the egg should be fully incorporated.
Step 4
Wash the apple under running water. Peel it, remove the core, and grate it on a coarse grater.
Step 5
Add the grated apple to the batter. Sift the flour through a sieve and add it to the bowl as well. Mix well. You may need a little less or a little more flour. The batter should not be stiff, but fairly viscous.
Step 6
Heat a pan. Pour in the vegetable oil and let it heat well. Spoon the rice fritters without milk into the pan with a tablespoon, flattening them slightly.
Step 7
Fry the fritters over medium heat on both sides until golden brown. Add oil to the pan before each batch; this will make the fritters more golden and tastier. Serve the rice fritters with apple hot, with sour cream. Enjoy!
