Preparation
Step 1
How to make “Red Sea” salad with crab sticks, tomatoes, and bell pepper? Prepare all the ingredients. Rinse the vegetables (tomatoes and bell pepper) well under running water, then pat dry with a towel. Any cheese works - just choose one that grates easily.
Step 2
Remove the crab sticks from the packages. Cut each crab stick lengthwise into 3-4 strips, then finely slice crosswise.
Step 3
We’ll assemble the salad in layers. For this you need a salad ring or a regular springform cake pan. Place the ring/pan right on the serving plate. Add the chopped crab sticks as the first layer and press lightly so it’s compact. Separately mix minced garlic with mayonnaise. Spread this sauce over this layer and all the layers that follow.
Step 4
Cut the bell pepper in half and remove the core. Then finely dice the pepper.
Step 5
Add the diced bell pepper as the next layer, pressing it down slightly.
Step 6
Grate the cheese finely and add 2/3 of the total amount as the third layer.
Step 7
Cut the tomatoes in half and remove the stem. Dice the tomatoes into small cubes. To keep the salad from becoming watery, remove the juicy tomato core.
Step 8
Add the diced tomatoes as the next layer.
Step 9
Sprinkle the top with the remaining grated cheese and remove the ring. “Red Sea” salad is ready! Chill it a little before serving and decorate to taste. You can use vegetables and fresh herbs for garnish.
Step 10
The finished salad is light and very tasty, and the garlic aroma nicely complements all the ingredients. Enjoy!
